This position is for a motivated, dynamic individual interested in working in an exciting, fast paced growth company. Support of all information technology systems including but not limited to the following (Server and desktop Operating Systems, Networks, Databases, Appliances, etc.):
Server Administration:
Exchange
Active Directory and DNS
File and Print Servers
Administer the VMware ESXi server and VMware View desktop environments.
Documentation of processes, procedures, network diagrams, rack layouts, business continuity and DR plans, systems administration library, etc.
Networking:
Routing and Switching.
Traffic shaping
Manage carrier contracts and cost.
Security Implementation, Maintenance, and Monitoring:
Firewall
Antispam
Antivirus
Intrusion Detection Systems, IDS
Coordinate and provide oversight of all data center security (physical, environmental, and virtual, etc.)
Coordinate server, desktop, laptop, and point of care security.
Plan, direct, and oversee the backup, disaster recovery, and business continuance functions through the use of SAN, NAS, virtualization, etc.
Patching servers, laptops, network equipment, etc. to the latest hardware and software revisions.
IT Support:
Perform new hire and termination activities.
Provide basic administration of network accounts and passwords
Manage security groups, distribution groups, file system permissions, connecting and setting up hardware, workstations, and loading all necessary software.
Identify, evaluate, assess, procure, deploy, and recover server, desktop, laptop, and printer hardware.
Maintain a current inventory of IT assets, hardware and software as required.
Monitoring and maintaining technology for maximum access.
Night/weekend on call.
Miscellaneous
Administer the company’s phone systems including moves, adds, changes and deletes.
Plan, direct, and oversee special projects.
Develop strong working relationships with outside vendors in order to obtain favorable pricing and efficient support.
Making recommendations about the purchase of resources.
Identifying and preparing hardware for safe disposal including ensuring hardware is secured and stripped before disposal.

Advanced knowledge of Desktop Virtualization and VMWare Horizon.
The ability to manage update/troubleshoot a parent image is a must.
Knowledge of UEM and AppVolumes is a must.
Familiarity with the Connection Servers and UAG is a must.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills is a must.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred and three to five years in a progressively more responsible support role.
Information Technology support role in a 3000+ user environment is required.
Broad and in-depth experience in a Windows environment, VMware, and basic networking skills are mandatory as is demonstrated experience in managing projects.
Dedication to providing courteous, efficient, and accurate resolution for all support issues is a must.
