As a Sr Programmer Analyst , you will:

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and define the scope of work, ascertain the business objective, and develop new user demanded features and functionality for Information Management and Analytics

  • Analyze business requirements and develop design specifications and test plans to meet business requirements within a data warehouse environment used for analytics and reporting

  • Analyze & translate functional specifications & change requests into technical specifications.

  • Design, develop, lead and oversee the integration processes which includes troubleshooting and problem solving to suit the business needs.

  • Responsible for intake of the reporting requirements and analytic development using the MicroStrategy tool.

  • Responsible for designing and executing Application objects and Schema objects using MicroStrategy Desktop.

  • Migrating object from one environment to other using Object manager and monitoring user connections, caches and jobs

  • Act as the primary interface to the architecture team and influence architectural decisions based on their platforms needs and the usage of tools to support the Business Intelligence architecture.

  • Analyze and communicate report development issues, including problems with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues

  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

  • Interface with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to accomplish the business goals.

  • Monitor and manage new and existing integration elements to ensure continued customer satisfaction.

  • Research and develop advanced analytics, visualizations and statistical learning models for data analysis

  • Ensure accuracy & integrity of data & applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation & problem resolution.

  • Optimize development efforts through appropriate database use and project design.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

  • MicroStrategy Platform and administration

  • MicroStrategy development for Reporting and Analytics

  • Knowledge of other visualization platforms like Tableau or Business Objects

  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS)

  • Advanced technology, business applications, development methodology, programming languages, databases, operating systems

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to new technology and processes quickly

  • Advanced/Predictive analytics and data science experience preferred

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred

  • This role requires full COVID-19 vaccination
