Position can be located anywhere in the country near a major airport. Position requires up to 50% travel.

Job Summary: RVP Clinical Operations strategically leads the clinical service analysis, development, implementation, and measurement for a growing region. Primary accountability is to ensure the delivery of consistent high-quality patient care, direct disease management and specialty programs. Serves as key member of the region executive management team.

Essential Functions: (Those functions that the individual who holds the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation).

  • Identifies, develops, and monitors clinical strategies to fulfill region business objectives in a proactive vs. reactive manner.

  • Establishes the goals and objectives, standards, and policies and procedures to achieve high quality patient care and improved patient outcomes in accordance with the organization’s strategic plan.

  • Spearheads changes to existing protocols and policies through all levels in the organization to create a culture of clinical excellence and profitable growth.

  • Monitors and promotes increased patient satisfaction. Oversees the region’s clinical outcomes, operational processes, performance metrics, etc. in support of patient satisfaction. Provides direction to the clinical delivery to identify a solution to client need/problems.

  • Ensures compliance with all company protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements. Oversees efforts in complying with local, state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, clinical practice standards as well as corporate compliance and policy standards.

  • Ensures sound fiscal management of care delivery that supports region strategy.

  • Supports sales and growth of the region.

  • Ensures all region staff understand clinical financial metrics and how they can positively influence clinical financial performance.

  • Analyzes and makes recommendations to enhance work efficiency and information flow processes along with suitability and accuracy of Clinical Informatics. Works with staff to identify deficiencies.

  • Creates a positive service excellence culture within region by setting expectations and accountability through effective clinical leadership.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations :

  • Broad working knowledge of home health regulatory requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing and directing clinical services strategies, improving quality outcomes and implementing successful performance improvement initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Master’s degree preferred


  • Registered Nurse license in assigned state


  • Minimum 7-10 years of clinical and/or administration management experience in a strategy formulating capacity

  • Leadership skills in a multi-site environment
