We are looking for Professional In-Home Special Care Attendants who are serious about providing our clients with the level of Care that is beyond all others and in return making Kindred at Home Community Care their long term employer. Kindred at Home Special Care Attendants represent the highest standards of In-Home personal care, serving across multiple counties.

In Home Special Care Attendants provide a wide range of services to our clients that may consist of:

  • Serving new clients

  • Client orientation

  • Personal care (bathing, toileting, transferring)

  • Advanced Personal Care

  • Medication reminders

  • Cleaning of home

  • Laundry

  • Shopping and errands

  • Meal preparation

  • Respite service

Required Skills

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age.

  • Must meet at least one (1) of the following requirements:

  • Have at least six (6) months paid work experience as an agency homemaker, nurse aide, maid, or household worker.

  • Have at least one (1) year experience, paid or unpaid, in caring for children or for sick or aged individuals;

  • Have successfully completed formal training in nursing arts or as a nurse aide or home health aide.

  • Able to understand and carry out directions or instructions and to record notes/keep records.

  • Ability to adapt to daily changes in scheduling and travel needs.

  • Physical ability to perform personal care tasks.

  • Ability to read, write, understand, carry out directions, keep simple medical records and function with minimal supervision.

  • Must maintain reliable transportation ( you drive yourself ).

  • Must not have a criminal conviction which bars employment.

  • Must have no adverse record or be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry.

Kindred at Home Community Care offers our Special Care Attendants:

  • $100 recruitment bonus

  • Guaranteed 30 paid hours per pay period. Guaranteed hours are based on full availability and may include weekends and evenings as needed.

  • Travel time paid.

  • Mileage reimbursement.

  • Competitive pay.
