The Complaint/Risk Manager Coordinator receives and documents investigation and resolution of unusual occurrences with the assistance of appropriate staff

Essential Functions:

  • Reports and communicates details of client issues with the Director of Client Care.

  • Communicates appropriately with external agencies as needed.

  • Assist with auditing of complaint investigations.

  • Attend IDT/Staffings as needed.

  • Identify needs of clients, make referrals to Home Health and assist with Coordination of Care, as needed.

  • Field visits as needed.

  • Attend scheduled meetings.

  • Take call on a rotation basis, as appropriate.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • preferred State licensed Registered Nurse, BSN, MSW, BS or BA.

  • Risk Management background preferred.

  • Basic skills to include assessment and documentation.

  • Good communication and organizational skills required.

  • CBA and PHC knowledge preferred.

  • Computer knowledge preferred.

  • Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).

  • Must read, write and speak fluent English.

  • Must have good and regular attendance

  • Approximate percent of time required to travel.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
